Bend My Bones?

Loving you will be like bending my bones,
So I ll stick to picking stones.
Avert my eyes in disdain,
As I watch you, I feel the pain.
Agony in the heart burns violently,
While you leave me with your memory
To starve for you while you will have fled
So I ll cast a wall between us in stead,
Before I have more tears to shed
For our stories that will soon be dead.

Anagnorisis

The exfoliating rose suffers the pain
Caused by the maturing,
That separates one
From each of its petals, in palimpsest.
Bound so closely in love
They were peeled away
Like skin of the flesh.
How can one
Weigh the agony
Of a fish being pulled out
From water?
This is meaninglessness of life-
It withers away slowly, that rose
Once plucked from stem
But whose beauty in its place first,
Lures you to do the damage.
Try, try putting it back,
It won’t happen.
Try, try preserving its life,
It will die away.
Hold it and feel happy
But then remorse will fill your heart.
Then you keep walking with shackles
And shackles that start bleeding you
And shackles that heavies your move
And shackles that reminds you.
That key you look for lies in void, devoid
Of yourself, ego, false pride, vanity, loathed activities, lies, lies and more lies.
Don’t stop yet,
Go on, on and look ahead.
You left prints that are fading.
Don’t hold on.
You have to fall, you are already fallen
So, now you have to sink, drown, perish in that trench you dug once, for pure joy.
You can’t wake up, it’s no dream.
You can’t sleep, you won’t be able to.
Cry, try if you want.
Those tears are not comforting
No, they won’t, they won’t come to you.
Yell, shriek, screech, scream if you may
It is funny, now no voice will bring you any refuge
Cause you broke the mirror
That showed you what you were.
You can have the pieces now.
If you join them all, you will create a beauteous piece of the self and show your distorted self.
Wait, little longer, time has stopped
And your pain will endure your broken image
Until death decides to leave you some mercy.
